Portfolio > The House Dress Project

"The House Dress Project" is an ongoing body of work. Each dress is made to tell a story. Women are telling me their personal experiences that occurred due to them being born female. In the age of #metoo, there is no shortage of sexual assault stories, but there are also stories that relate to the "glass ceiling" and stories of general misogyny. The front of the dress has her house painted on it, and the story is embroidered on the back.
